Inside Sales Representative

As a part of the Strathcom Media team, the Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in helping the company achieve its sales objectives by delivering exciting and disruptive products to clients in the automotive space. Our goal is to drive (no pun intended) an age-old industry into a new direction, and we’re looking for self-motivated sales individuals to do so!

Your main role involves driving (sorry last one) new business with prospective clients in the dealership network while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This is a role that will assist in client relations, retention, sales, and customer support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research potential clients in designated areas across the country
  • Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing
  • Understand customer’s needs and provide real, practical solutions with exceptional support
  • Educate clients on Strathcom Media’s products and services
  • Present & discuss digital solutions to potential and existing clients
  • Staying on top of automotive industry trends
  • Liaising clients with Strathcom departments to ensure a smooth, logical workflow for each service.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Working both independently and in a team environment
  • Managing multiple client accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Analyzing and identifying market trends, changes and implications 
  • Develop sales goals, objectives, and strategies
  • Conflict resolution with a calm and diplomatic demeanour
  • Experience with a CMS system is an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French would be an asset

Required Education & Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in providing superior customer service
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience
  • Knowledgeable in digital marketing including social media, SEO, SEM, and analytics
  • Sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
