When Strathcom first started in 1997, we focused on solving a single problem: car dealers needed a better way to manage their inventory online and syndicate it to other websites. Traditional systems were cumbersome, slow, and frustrating, and we wanted to change that.
What began as our Easy-Loader vehicle management system evolved into a full set of tools to help dealerships better merchandise their inventory online. We now offer a complete set of solutions including online advertising, inventory syndication, and dealer websites.
The Inventory team is still driven by that original problem. Car dealers today have more data sources than ever and we need to seamlessly combine them. UIs for managing inventory need to be easy yet powerful and have to work on any device. Every day, we process more than 500,000 vehicles and serve up 9 million photo requests. And we do all of this with a small and tight-knit team of developers.
If you join our team, you will have the opportunity to build out the Inventory Platform that drives our hundreds of dealer websites across Canada. We’re responsible for the whole stack from deeper services processing inventory feeds to building out the integrations to dealer websites.
