Search Engine Optimization and Submission.

As a web site developer, Strathcom Media has to continuously stay on top of the ever changing search engine world. Every new web site that Strathcom launches has been designed from top to bottom with the focus on communicating your keywords to the search engines in the best possible way, and in being search engine friendly.

Once your web site has been completed and is live, Strathcom submits all key pages where each one has been optimized individually, to a large number of FREE crawler-based search engines and directories such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Open Directory, Alta Vista and more (currently 40-50).

Please note that there are often long stretches of time when some search engines do not add new pages to their indexes. Strathcom has no control over when your pages will be indexed, but will do our best to get you listed as soon as possible. Normally you will find your web site listed in the major search engines within three months from the submission date. In rare cases, it could however take up to six months.

Many search engine optimization companies “guarantee” that your site will have a certain degree of success with search engine placements. Please be aware that those “guarantees” usually only applies to a limited number of specific “key phrases”, often picked by the company themselves.

Strathcom does not guarantee that you will be on top of each search engine, but we promise to do our best.

If you need to be listed fast, there is always the alternative with paid inclusions. Paying for an inclusion usually results in getting listed within a week or two.

Every Strathcom web site goes through a review after 2 months to determine how successful the initial submission was. If your site is still not listed at this point, Strathcom will execute a second submission.
