USED CARS CANADA's new site is launched

The managment at Strathcom is pleased to announce that the Used Cars Canada Web Portal has just been re-launched with our newest prospecting functionality. The new site allows vehicle buyers to save searches, set notifications for vehicles just loaded to our system, and make and save notes on vehicles they are interested in. The latest version of the site features up to date new and pre-owned vehicle listings from over 700 Franchised Automotive Dealerships from coast to coast. Each of our customers has the ability to effortlessly manage their vehicles on this site directly from their account using the Easy-Loader VMS.

Honda & Acura Canada Web Sites go live!

Strathcom Media is pleased to announce that it is now powering the CPO sections of the Honda and Acura Canada Web Sites. The new system allows dealers to quickly and efficiently manage their certified pre-owned vehicle inventory on the Honda and Acura Canada Web Sites; all from one easy to use console. This new feature is also fully integrated with Honda and Acura's e-biz system and the Carproof Vehicle History Reports system. The new functionality allows dealers to utilize DMS automation, multiple photos, distribution to 3rd party advertising sites, and PDA sales solution tools to name a few. RouteOne and Strathcom offer new service.

RouteOne LLC of FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., a provider of credit application management systems for North American dealers, and Strathcom Media Inc., a leading provider of automated and integrated data solutions for North American Automotive Retailers, OEM's and Media companies, have just completed a full integration between Strathcom's Easy-Loader Vehicle Management System (VMS) platform, and the RouteOne system.

The integration eliminates the need for dealers to re-key information into RouteOne that already exists in the Easy-Loader VMS. Strathcom now offers its dealers the ability to easily create, validate, execute, store and manage, vehicle finance leads from their dealership web sites, and 3rd party lead generation sources, directly with RouteOne.

“We are very pleased to offer our dealers full data processing capabilities through our agreement with RouteOne,” said Rob Reay, President of Strathcom. “I am confident this new integration opportunity will lead to increased F&I functionality, and the more efficient movement of data for our large dealer network, ultimately leading to greater profitability for our dealers.”

Strathcom will begin offering the enhanced service to its 700+ dealers beginning April 1st 2007.

Both companies will make formal announcements in the next couple of weeks.

Strathcom and Click For A Call offer new service

In the on-going effort to provide our customers with the latest advancements in online sales solutions, Strathcom has fully integrated with Click For A Call, an innovative web to voice technology provider. With a simple click, the Click For A Call feature enables a potential buyer to proceed directly from browsing on your website to talking with your sales representative. When the buyer enters their phone number and clicks the Click for a Call “action” button, you receive a call from the system. This call will notify you of the buyer's interests in detail, giving you the pertinent information you need to close the sale.

Carproof and Strathcom Integrate Systems

Strathcom Media and CarProof announced today that the two companies will work together to provide automotive dealers and their clients, with vehicle history reports on demand. The new service has two parts. One is to provide a total integration between the Easy-Loader VMS and Carproof's back end for the dealerships who use either companies products; and the other provides the general public with the ability to request the history report (for free) of the vehicle that he or she is contemplating purchasing. 

 

By facilitating the wider distribution of vehicle history data reports, the Dealership, Strathcom Media, and CarProof are all working together seamlessly to provide the general buyer with more peace of mind on the dealer web site while searching for their next vehicle there.
